Shipping policy
The Tempest Weather System currently only ships within the United States (US), Canada (CAN) and the United Kingdom (UK). To subscribe to be notified of added shipping availability in other countries, please fill out THIS FORM.
Free Standard Shipping Policy
Tempest offers free standard shipping within the US, UK and CAN on orders over $50 USD. For standard shipping within the continental US we typically use United Parcel Service (UPS) or the US Postal Service (USPS) to deliver packages from the Tempest fulfillment center in Daytona Beach, Florida, USA. We may also, in our sole discretion, use other qualified parcel carriers at any time.
Expedited Shipping
Customers may have the option to pay for expedited shipping at checkout, at their own expense. While we strive to get your order to you quickly, please note that expedited shipping delivery dates are dependent on the carrier, and Tempest cannot guarantee them.
International Orders & Customs
Some Tempest products can be shipped outside of the US, CAN and UK. As the customer and importer, you are liable for all import duties (including VAT), customs, and local taxes levied by your country of residence. Please note that your order total displayed at checkout may not include all of these additional duties, fees, or taxes. In some cases, the contracted carrier (e.g., USPS) will hand off a package to a local post for final delivery, which may incur an additional fee which is your responsibility to pay. The local carrier will inform you of any additional duties before they deliver your shipment. Tempest cannot control these fees and is not responsible for their payment.
You acknowledge and agree that payment of customs, carrier, duty, or other fees may be necessary to release your order from customs or for you to receive your shipment. We are not responsible for any packages held by international customs agencies or any carrier, and we are not responsible for informing you of these agencies and their actions (that is beyond our control!). Please check with your country’s customs office to determine their procedures and any potential charges. If you choose to refuse the customs fee and the shipment is returned back to Tempest, we will refund your purchase price and any taxes you paid for your purchase through our store, less a non-refundable shipping and handling fee.
Delays in Transit
It is rare that a package be delayed in transit and we are very sorry if this has happened to your order. If you are ordering within the US or UK and see a delay of 3 or more business days with no movement, please reach out to support@tempest.earth. The team can then reach out to the carrier to check status and if needed, file a tracking claim.
If you are ordering outside of these regions, please allow up to 21 days for your package to reach you before contacting Tempest.
Delays in Holiday Shipping
Delays are expected during high volume shipping times. Although we cannot guarantee a delay-free process within the shipping service, Tempest does suggest placing orders at least 10 days in advance of expected delivery in the US and UK. This will give your package a better chance of arriving in time for your holiday or event. Tracking information can be found in the shipping notification email you received from Tempest.
If you are ordering outside of these regions, please consider ordering at least 21 days in advance of expected delivery.
