Shipping availability in other countries
At this time, the Tempest System is only sold and shipped within the US, Canada, and the UK. Tempest does not currently ship to other countries, including AU/NZ.

Freight Forwarders
Orders shipped to freight forwarders may be canceled with notice. There are different versions of the devices which operate on different radio frequencies. There could be problems with interference and you may not be operating a certified device in your country.

There is no shipping service to APO/FPO addresses due to limitations with shipping restrictions, delivery, radio certification and warranty. Orders shipped to APO/FPO addresses may be canceled with notice.

Why do I want a weather station at my house?
Most weather apps and weather reports from your evening news are based on public domain data — primarily from weather stations installed long ago at regional airports. Having a reliable weather station at your home gives you the benefit of knowing the exact conditions outside, (not at the nearest airport). Tempest also provides hyper-local forecast info, customized to your location and can even help you save money on heating & air conditioning by allowing your smart home tech to make automated decisions based on real-time weather data. How is Tempest's forecast better than others?
Improvements are made to the local forecast as the machine learning (AI) ingests observations from your weather station and other observations in your area. We pay a great deal of attention to the quality of the observations coming from your Tempest and our Continuous Learning AI seeks to improve the quality of your unique observations. You will notice advantages in accuracy over other forecasts starting about ~60 days from the time of installation. You may notice additional improvements going forward as we learn more about your local weather.
How do I view my Tempest Data?
Once your system is set up, you can view data and forecasts in the Tempest Weather App, or from any browser at tempestwx.com. Log in to the website using the same credentials you used to create your Tempest account or view the station data as a guest user. Tempest does not come with a dedicated display, but there are many other options to view your data. LEARN MORE
Do I need WiFi to use the Tempest Station?
It is highly recommended to connect the Hub to a WiFi network. Doing so will enable continuous uploading of weather data and allow anytime data access from anywhere.

Heidi Dennison We’ve had several accurite weather stations and decided we needed something slimmer and less imposing than what we had. The history feature is very good. My husband thought he would miss the counter top display but since we’ve put this at a remote location away from our home the app on the phone is invaluable!! Real time monitoring is awesome. Sharing of the app is a bit wonky for neighbors because we have to give them our email- possibly work towards one with share only permission. We have not had rain since we put up the system so we are unsure how that will measure. We are happy with our purchase and hope it will stand the test of time!!

C.K. Setup wqs pretty easy, and its accurate despite the initial firmware bug that cause the humidity to be off, but they fixed it and now it’s running like a million bucks. Considering ordering a cellular version for a different property.

John Hill Temperatures are spot on! I got customer service to turn off the calibrated learning (as recommended by some others) and after they turned that off the numbers were spot on for temps, humidity, dew points and pressure. Haven’t had enough rain/wind to be able to compare and test that yet. But so far it’s neat to be able to see my temps anywhere since it’s connected to WiFi. Also just fyi if you don’t have WiFi you can see the current weather info, but it does not show you any history at all. (It says it holds it for 10 days till it’s connected to WiFi) but in the Bluetooth only mode it doesn’t show you any thing other than what’s currently happening. Which is aggravating. So I got WiFi just to use with it and was then able to see all the history.

David Johnson My Tempest weather flow showed up fully intact and ready to go initiating. The set up was very easy lots of helpful information in the package plus follow up emails from the company offering support still working to get mine in a permanent location that will give me the best weather readings. Look forward to using my Tempest in the future.
