I wish I had really looked at what the unit looked like. Pretty colored lights, but it is had to tell what they mean unless you are next to the unit. Then at night all it looks like are pretty colored lights, but impossible to what you are looking at. Maybe in time you will become familiar with the layout.
I guess I was expecting an LCD screen similar to what other weather stations offer as their base unit. Did not expect a full color LCD screen displaying the same information as Tempest App or website but close, but I had hoped for something close.
At first I tried to peel off the screen thinking it was a protective overlay, it's not.
I agree with another review, unless you have the manual telling you what the colors mean it is hard to understand, ie forecast and the next 12 hours.
Expensive, to me it is not worth the $120. If it had incorporated the Tempest hub with the display then the price would have been acceptable.
