Easy to setup. Easy to connect to Weather Underground. Reasonably easy to use Amazon Fire Tablet (8" HD) as a inexpensive full time in house display.
I run the Fully Kiosk Browser (free) so the tablet screen never sleeps.
I use the Tempest app to display the data. I particularly like the historical data charts, though they could display more data. As the periods get longer, too much of averaging or clipping is going on; they should show more points. They also don't show the current condition as the last point which is annoying when things are changing quickly; you have to remember the current conditions from the main page.
I also have the Weather Underground app running, linked to the Tempest station, because I prefer it's moisture forecasts and general layout.
The only tricky part of the tablet setup was getting the Google App Store app loaded. Lots of good instructions online though.
I did need to get a cheap stand for the Fire tablet and I also got a small 180 degree USB-C to USB-C passthrough adapter. The adapter allows the charger cable to hide nicely behind the tablet.

Very pleased with my weather station after dealing with many issues from a La Crosse View unit. The Tempest was very straightforward to set up and pair with my home wi-fi. Incorporating into wunderground.com was easy, too. The weather station is reliable with a great deal of weather data and internal health details. I’m eager to see how it performs in rain and high wind conditions.

Love the no moving parts. Seems to be accurate vs. other nearby stations. Don’t have to worry about spider nests affecting my the rain gauge. Love the WiFi interface and not having to worry about placement of my display near the sensor. Well thought out design and software.

So far it’s working great. Full of features I’m still learning. Very accurate unit.
Made in China 🇨🇳 is my only issue. Hope it lasts a long time.
