Why do I want a weather station at my house?

Most weather apps and weather reports from your evening news are based on public domain data — primarily from weather stations installed long ago at regional airports. Having a reliable weather station at your home gives you the benefit of knowing the exact conditions outside, (not at the nearest airport). Tempest also provides hyper-local forecast info, customized to your location and can even help you save money on heating & air conditioning by allowing your smart home tech to make automated decisions based on real-time weather data. How is Tempest's forecast better than others?

Improvements are made to the local forecast as the machine learning (AI) ingests observations from your weather station and other observations in your area. We pay a great deal of attention to the quality of the observations coming from your Tempest and our Continuous Learning AI seeks to improve the quality of your unique observations. You will notice advantages in accuracy over other forecasts starting about ~60 days from the time of installation. You may notice additional improvements going forward as we learn more about your local weather.

Can I see my Tempest data online?

Yes. Once your system is configured (using the Tempest Weather mobile app on iOS or Android), you can view data and forecasts from any browser at tempestwx.com. Log in to the website using the same credentials you used to create your Tempest account or view the station data as a guest user.

Do I need WiFi to use the Tempest Station?

It is highly recommended to connect the Hub to a WiFi network. Doing so will enable continuous uploading of weather data and allow anytime data access from anywhere.

I recently purchased the Tempest Weather system and absolutely Love it we are Very active Fisherman so keeping updated on weather conditions is very important and the Tempest does a excellent job giving us the Data we need to have a safe Fishing Trip I also use the Map Weather data which is Awesome.I want to give Tech Chelsea a Big Shout out She help me set up my Tempest she was Great to work with.

A great weather station

Super easy to set up. Couldn't be simpler. Excellent interface, very easy to understand and use. From the time I opened the box to final assembly and mounting was well under an hour. Highly recommended!!! Intelligent forecasting too!!!!

Working great. Have compared it to my Weather channel app and several other apps and it is dead on or extremely close. Worth the moolah!

Accurate as local TV & Radio weather Forcasts

Have had the Tempest weather system for a little over a week now and a everything works as promised. Have not had a chance to check on the Haptic rain gauge because there has been no rain here. The connection to the modem went flawlessly. Have it installed on my Android phone and PC, and linked to the Radar Omega weather App. Nice to be able to compare the weather forcasts on local TV and radio to my backyard Tempest unit. Sof far it is charging enough each day. I only have about a three hour window in the sun depending on cloud cover because The yard and house are heavily surrounded by trees. Charges fast once in direct sunlight. For the price I am happy with the results so far. If it ever rains here again I can comment on the Haptic rain sensor. Tempest is Better than my last station whch needed almost daily calibration to stay accurate. Good Job Weather Flow.

Nice to have the selection of reports on the dashboard

Good to have the information that I like to see, in one location. No pressing buttons to scroll through menus to display the information. Easy installation with both the hardware and connection /setup to my network. Glad I bought the unit!
