Chuck H Ok, but battery went bad just over 2 years after activation. I contacted Tempest. And they confirmed it was more than 2 years after I purchased it. They gave me 50% off a new device. The device is supposed to last 10 years, and warranty ends in two years. I'm a bit surprised they didn't offer me 75% off if I returned my old unit so they could study it.

Gary Ordered a replacement device since the dog tore down the mounting pole I had and chewed up the old one. The new device arrived quickly and works great and it is now mounted on a pole outside the fence area for the dog.

George McMahan This was to replace a damaged unit, we've been very happy with the Tempest weather stations, have one more at a far away location; only problem with this replacement is that it didn't have a Hub or the other installation hardware. I'll be contacting CS as I think it should have and their service has been very good so far.
