The Universal Mount is an excellent option for installing the Tempest device on a variety of structures and vertical surfaces.
Two mast configurations are possible. Attaching the short end of the pole in the bracket will maximize installation height while attaching the long end in the bracket instead will provide greater distance from the mounting surface.
Please note: Bracket mounting straps are not included.

James Kudla The mount is well-made and assembles easily. The only issue I encountered was getting the screws into the oak board of my fence (oak is the standard for horse fencing). The mounting bracket was a bit narrow and I had difficulty drilling pilot holes. I solved the issue, but recommend having the mounting holes outside the bracket, rather than inside. That would make drilling pilot holes easier and giclve a wider, more stable base for the pole.
