Bird Deterrent Accessory

While I believe this will be effective in keeping the birds from perching on it, I didn't like the installation. Yes, simple to do and I get the band needing to be tight, but wow, was it hard to slip over the top portion ot the Tempest It holds in place well, but I hope I don't have to take it off. I'm worried I might break it next time.

Installed the bird deterrent a couple of days ago. Installed easily. No performance data as yet.

A new Tempest bird deterrent seems to be working very well. I used to get messages that it was raining, while in actuality it was a mockingbird doing a little dance on top of my Tempest. Since I have installed the new deterrent, there has not been any birds landing on it. Before it was installed, I even had a great horn owl that would land on it frequently.

Easy to install, I really think this should come with all the weather stations.

While the directions were minimal, it is simple so I can't complain about that. However, this is only held in place with friction so I am not confident about how long it will stay in place.
